Ethnic Dispute:
Belize and Guatemala have been in a decade long dispute over undetermined border lines. For the border to be equally divided Mayan people in Guatemala would have land important to their culture be divided between Belize and Guatemala. This has been deemed unfair to the Guatemalan Mayan people, because the Mayan people of Belize have land of their own. The last spoken dispute of the culturally undetermined border was in 2010. Since then there has been no decisions made and the land still belongs to Guatemala, specifically the Mayan people of Guatemala.
